Momentum 360 Course
Hey everyone and welcome back to another Momentum Monday! This week’s blog is going to be a little different than our usual posts. We’re excited to announce that later this year, Momentum 360 co-owner Sean Boyle is going to be releasing a course on how to create a 7-figure virtual tour business. There isn’t an official release date yet, but you can expect the course sometime in the spring of this year!
In today’s blog, we’re going to talk about some of the topics included in the course such as:
- Legalities
- Virtual Tour Software & Equipment
- Services & Pricing
- Marketing
- Operations
- Scaling
Of course, for the full picture, you’ll have to wait for the course to be released, but here’s a little preview of what’s coming!
Let’s get into it.
Legalities
An essential part of any successful business is making sure everything you do is above board for the protection of your business, employees, clients, and, of course, yourself. This section will go over business banking, invoicing and payroll, systems, and your business’s purpose and legacy.
The last part, purpose and legacy, is something you will want to decide right from the beginning as it will set the tone for your entire business model. What do you want to be known for? When someone says your name, what do you want them to associate it with?
Virtual Tour Software & Equipment
In this section, we’ll be talking about the various software and equipment you will want to familiarize yourself with before starting your virtual tour company. Some of the software included will be Matterport, CloudPano, MP Skin, and Metareal. We’ll also be going over the various virtual tour cameras and what photographers tend to prefer. There are a lot of options out there for both software and equipment so it’s important to pick one that works the best for your budget, experience, and comfort level.
Services and Pricing
Before you can start drawing in clients, you have to nail down your pricing system. There are a lot of ways to measure prices from time spent on a job to the square footage of the property you are scanning. Additionally, any other services you provide such as photography, aerial and drone photography, virtual staging, 3D rendering, etc., need their own pricing systems.
Marketing
One of the most important parts of building a successful business comes from how you market yourself. It isn’t enough to simply create your business and hope clients come to you, you need to be well-versed in digital marketing strategies. Some of the things we’ll be talking about in terms of marketing are your website, local SEO, email, advertising, social media, and digital content.
Between Momentum 360 owners Mac and Sean, we have 25+ years in digital marketing experience so you can trust that we know what we’re talking about in this area.
Operations
To run a successful business and ensure a smooth process for clients, you need to make sure things are running well within your team. This includes communication between employees, scheduling, and integrating different types of software to streamline your processes.
Some of the software that we use at Momentum 360 and will be talking about in this portion of the course are Slack, Callrail, Zapier, Calendly, and Google Calendar. Slack is an internal messaging system, Callrail does call tracking and forwarding, Zapier integrates software between web applications, and Calendly and Google Calendar are used to schedule and confirm appointments with photographers and demos for the sales team.
Scaling
Finally, scaling is a business means to encourage and support growth within your company. In this section of the course, we’ll be talking about the entrepreneurial myth, ethics codes, and how to systemize and expand. Consistency and dedication to doing your job well are essential pieces in creating a successful company and will guide you well in your business.
We’re really excited for this course to come out and hope you are, too! We’ll keep you updated on when the course will be available and how you can create your own 7-figure virtual tour business.
