How to Pass AI Detection

Introduction

Welcome back to another Momentum 360 weekly blog! In this one, we’ll go over how to pass AI detection with three distinct free softwares that can be easily accessible online. The purpose of this blog is to show you how easy it is to pass AI detection. It’s 2024, so as we all know, AI has taken over writing blogs, doing homework, and we need to be able to detect whether a human wrote something, or an AI software did.

The importance of this is to identify and verify that someone actually did the work they said they did. Also, Google is becoming smarter in regards to detecting AI written content, so you’ll need to read this blog to make sure you’re not getting duped when your blog writers say they themselves wrote a blog, but in all reality, they used ChatGPT to do so.

The same can be said for students in any class, whose teachers need to verify that they’re the ones doing the work, instead of ChatGPT. This way, whether we’re talking about students, professionals, or anyone else, they can actually earn and learn the skill they need to become better writers, and use ChatGPT and other AI softwares in a proper manner, instead of solely relying on it to write for themselves, which means they’re losing the skill of writing.

In this blog, we’ll go over 3 distinct softwares called Copyleaks, GPT Zero, and Scibbr. Each software has their own features, some more strict than others, but the great thing is that they’re all free.

Let’s not waste any time, and show you how to pass AI detection and review it using these three softwares.

Copyleaks

The most black and white of all softwares, copyleaks will simply take any character limit and either give you a message saying “Human Written” in green, or “AI Written” in red. There’s also a paid enhanced version that allows you to get an actual percentage of how much “AI” or “human” written content is deemed in a certain blog. This isn’t a perfect science, simply because the technology isn’t 100% there yet. In future softwares that we’ll discuss, they actually show off a certain percentage of human to AI written content, which actually is pretty helpful to show off the exact words/sentences that are highlighted as AI.

Overall, copyleaks gets the job done, the enhanced version really isn’t needed unless you’re a teacher, but if you’re a more experienced content writer or digital marketer, you might want to look at other softwares that we’ll mention to get a better understanding of what you can get.

GPT Zero

GPT Zero is a more advanced software that actually shows you the percentages of whether a bit of text is written by a human or by AI. If you’re a teacher or digital marketer/blogger, it might be better off for you to check out using a software like this to learn how to pass AI detection, so you’re able to catch whether people are lying to you, or telling them truth, when they say something was written by a human or not.

As you can see, once you put in a prompt, GPT Zero gives you a percentage of how much a prompt was AI written or human written, which is quite helpful since you’re able to see which exact words/sentences are what. Using the free version, you can have 15,000 characters to your disposal, which will certainly be enough to detect whether or not you have AI or a human writing this.

As you can also see here from this screenshot, you’ll see the highlighted words that were the detected as AI. The interesting thing is, from this prompt, it was actually written by me, and not AI. Most likely the reason that this prompt wsa detected by AI, is because it’s most likely listed as AI on a numerous amount of blogs.

GPT Zero is a decent software, as it gives you more insight than Copyleaks, but it still could be more accurate, and overall have better metrics and tips to have any AI written content, be more human.

Scribbr

This is the creme de la creme of AI detection softwares. If you’re looking for free software that will show you everything you need to know in regards to AI or human content detection, Scribbr is the one for you. As you can see, it’s a more advanced software than GPT Zero. Learning how to pass AI detection can be tricky, but if you have the right software and technology, you’ll make it as easy as possible for yourself.

Using the same prompt, you can see that this software is more accurate, as it’s now saying there’s a 0% chance that it’s written from AI, like I previously mentioned, I wrote it myself.

This is a free software, but like the others there’s an advanced version that allows you to get more advanced metrics.

Techniques for How to Avoid AI Detection

Obfuscating Text

Obfuscating text is a technique used to bypass AI text content detectors. It involves altering and manipulating text in a way that makes it difficult for the detector to accurately analyze and interpret the content. One way to obfuscate text is through the use of synonyms, replacing common words with similar but less detectable alternatives. Another method is adding random or irrelevant words to the text, which creates noise and misleads the detector.

Obfuscating text can be an effective strategy to evade detection and ensure that the intended message is not flagged or filtered by AI algorithms.

Using Unicode Characters

Using Unicode characters can be an effective strategy to bypass AI content detectors. By replacing certain letters or symbols with visually similar Unicode characters, you can alter the appearance of words without changing their meaning.

For example, replacing the letter “a” with a Cyrillic character that looks similar will make it more challenging for the AI to recognize specific keywords. However, it’s important to note that while this technique can temporarily evade detection, AI systems are becoming more sophisticated in identifying such attempts. Therefore, it’s crucial to stay updated on the latest strategies and adapt accordingly.

Adding Punctuation and Symbols

Adding punctuation and symbols strategically can help bypass AI content detectors. One effective technique is to insert non-standard characters within certain words, like replacing the letter ‘o’ with a zero or ‘a’ with ‘@’. For instance, instead of writing “free,” you can write “fr33” or “fr@3.” Another approach is to intersperse punctuation marks in-between words or within words, such as using multiple exclamation marks or question marks.

However, it is crucial to maintain readability and not overdo it, as excessive usage may make the content appear spammy or untrustworthy.

Using Homoglyphs

Using homoglyphs, or characters with similar shapes, can be a useful technique to bypass AI content detectors. By substituting certain letters or symbols with visually similar alternatives, it can be difficult for the AI to identify prohibited or flagged content accurately.

For example, replacing the letter “o” with the number “0” or using a Cyrillic character that looks like the Latin equivalent. However, it’s important to note that relying solely on homoglyphs may not guarantee evasion, as AI systems are constantly evolving and improving their detection capabilities. Therefore, it is advisable to combine multiple methods for a more comprehensive approach to bypassing AI content detection.

Altering Word and Sentence Structure

Altering word and sentence structure is a useful tactic for evading AI content detectors. By employing synonyms, antonyms, or rearranging sentence components, you can subtly modify your writing to appear unique or bypass detection algorithms. For instance, instead of using the term “important,” you could opt for synonyms like “significant” or “crucial.

” Likewise, sentence fragments or splitting a single sentence into two can also alter the structure and make it harder for AI detectors to identify plagiarized content. Practicing these techniques can assist in maintaining originality and avoiding detection by AI algorithms.

Using Synonyms and Antonyms

One way to bypass AI content detectors is by using synonyms and antonyms. By replacing certain words with their equivalents or opposites, you can avoid detection while still conveying the same message.

For example, instead of using the word “buy,” you could use “purchase” or “acquire.” On the other hand, if you want to emphasize a negative sentiment without triggering the detector, you can use antonyms like “unhelpful” instead of “useless.” However, it is important to maintain readability and coherence in your content, as excessive synonym and antonym usage can make your text appear unnatural or confusing.

Rearranging Sentence Syntax

Rearranging sentence syntax is an effective technique to evade AI content detectors. By changing the order of words, phrases, or clauses in a sentence, you can sidestep detection algorithms that rely on specific grammar patterns or word combinations. For instance, instead of saying “I love ice cream,” you can rearrange the syntax to say “Ice cream is loved by me.” This alteration disrupts the AI’s ability to identify and flag the content as potentially problematic.

Applying this approach throughout your writing helps to maintain the desired message while evading detection.
